91-year-old store owner held up by armed robbers. But he’s not about to let them go without a fight.

When a pair of armed robbers walked into Phil Carlino’s place of business — Fremont Coin Company in Las Vegas — Friday night, the 91-year-old store owner did not let the cash-seeking intruders walk away unscathed.
Carlino acknowledged to KTNV-TV that the two robbers “really ran us over,” but he still “had to fight.”

Primarily because one of the robbers was holding one of Carlino’s employees — a young woman — on the floor at gunpoint, the station said.

Carlino told KTNV he intended to “try to make sure that my girl is safe and didn’t get hurt badly.”
While another robber is seen on surveillance video repeatedly kicking Carlino — who was seated in a chair — the plucky store owner let his fists fly in response.
At one point in the clip the robber trying to gain the upper hand on Carlino is seen falling to the ground.
In the end, the robbers took off with $500, the station said — but for Carlino it’s more important that he and his employee were unharmed. Carlino told KTNV he visited a doctor who told him he was in “good shape” — save for a bruise on his hand.
Officials told the station one suspect was described as a black male, 25 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, husky build with a mustache/goatee and wearing a black shirt, black shorts and black and gray shoes.
They told KTNV that the second suspect is a black male, 30 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, thin build with a mustache/goatee and wearing a grey fedora hat, a grey/black/white jacket, white shirt, grey sweat pants with black pads on the knees, black shoes and a multi-colored bag.
The pair fled in a ’90s model Buick four-door vehicle, faded green in color, police told the station.
And Carlino has a warning for the still-at-large robbers.
“This kind of thing is not going to continue,” he told KTNV. “The police are saying that, and others are saying it. And they’re not going to tolerate this constant jumping all over each other.”

British man is sentenced to nearly 2 years in jail for what he said on Facebook

Nigel Pelham has been sentenced by a court in Britain to nearly two years in jail for inflammatory messages he posted on Facebook. The messages advocated violence against Muslims.
The official social media account of the Sussex Police touted the sentencing Tuesday, saying, “This man used Facebook to express his hatred for muslims & has gone to prison.”

“The charges brought in this case are extremely serious and were only brought against four people in England and Wales during 2016,” said Sergeant Peter Allan of the hate crime unit of the Sussex Police.

“Nigel Pelham used Facebook to express some truly offensive views,” he said, “with no understanding of how serious his actions were.
“Many people see social media as a harmless and sometimes faceless place to air their opinions,” Allan concluded, “however, I hope this shows we will not tolerate this type of behaviour and will act when someone reports their concern about what someone is posting.”
Pelham, 49, said on a Facebook post that Britain should institute a “bomb a mosque day,” and advocated that people “put a Muslim on top of a bonfire.”
“Nigel Pelham was charged with eight counts of publishing threatening written material intending to stir up religious hatred against Muslims on dates between February 24 and November 16, 2015 on his own Facebook account,” the police said in a statement. He was sentenced to 20 months in jail, to pay a fine, and have his computer hard drives confiscated.
Great Britain, like most countries, does not afford its citizens the expansive free speech rights that the United States does. Many on the left have advocated that the U.S. follow the much more restrictive standard on speech imposed by foreign governments, but civil libertarians and conservatives have staunchly resisted the idea, owing to the protections enshrined in the Constitution.

NASA's Juno captures beautiful view of Jupiter’s bands of clouds!

NASA has released a beautiful image of Jupiter's band of light and dark clouds.

The US space agency NASA has released a beautiful image of Jupiter's band of light and dark clouds.
The image was captured by NASA's Juno spacecraft on May 19, 2017, at 11:30 am PST (2:30 p.m. EST) from an altitude of about 20,800 miles (33,400 kilometers) above Jupiter's cloud tops.
According to the space agency, the enhanced-color image of Jupiter’s bands of light and dark clouds was created by citizen scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran using data from the JunoCam imager on Juno spacecraft.
As per NASA, three of the white oval storms known as the “String of Pearls” are visible near the top of the image. Each of the alternating light and dark atmospheric bands in this image is wider than Earth, and each rages around Jupiter at hundreds of miles (kilometers) per hour.
The lighter areas are regions where gas is rising, and the darker bands are regions where gas is sinking.

Fenugreek Does The Impossible for Men. It Increases Testosterone Levels and Helps with Baldness

Fenugreek is a medicinal plant the comes from India and North Africa.  In men (middle aged to aging men in particular) Fenugreek has the potential to raise sexual libido and performance, testosterone levels and athletic performance.  Many study’s have indicated the physical and psychological benefits of satisfactory sexual performance in advancing years.
Also, since the modern diet, lifestyle and daily encounter with toxins make most men above the age of 35 testosterone deficient, a natural herb that can reverse this is extremely exciting.  Since so many men either ignore the consequences of low testosterone levels (feminine breast tissue, loss of energy and muscle tone, low sexual performance, etc.) or turn to conventional medication with dangerous side-affects, all men over the age of 35 should consider if adding Fenugreek to their daily supplement routine would be right for them.  You, or men in your life, might consider Fenugreek if you would like to increase any of the following:

Sexual Libido:  Many men suffer from a low sex drive, especially men over the age of 40.  This is often due to reduced levels of testosterone and increased levels of free-radicals, stress, toxic chemicals and other factors.  In a study published in the February 2011 edition of ” Phytotherapy Research” investigators tested 60 men between the ages of 25-52 with symptoms of sexual dysfunction.  When compared to placebo, verse 600 mg of Fenugreek extract for six weeks, a positive correlation the Fenugreek supplement verses those on placebo was established.  Those men who took the supplement reported greater increases in sexual drive and performance while maintaining normal levels of testosterone.
Sports Performance:  A increase in sports performance can have a hugely positive influence in overall health as you are able to exercise harder, longer and more frequently.  In an article published in the December 2010 edition of “The Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism”, researchers studied the 5a-Reductase and aromatase in Fenugreek.  When 500 mg of Fenugreek extract was given daily to men who had a high level of athletic activity (verse those who took placebo) they demonstrated a greater increase in muscle mass and weight lifting ability while loosing more body fat.
Body Composition:  The affect of Fenugreek on body composition, muscular strength, energy production and hormonal levels was investigated in the October 2010 edition of “Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition”.  Investigators gave 49 men, who were physically training 4 times per week, 500 mg of Fenugreek extract or placebo for 8 weeks.  The study determined that the group that took Fenugreek (verse those who took placebo) showed greater increases in physical strength as measured by both leg and bench press exercises.  They also determined that the same group showed a larger decrease in body fat over the 8 week period.  The study concluded that Fenugreek had a significant effect on body composition.

As you can see, the benefits of Fenugreek for men are very compelling and needed in our modern society.  It’s very nice to have a natural plant to turn to first!

Apple Cider Vinegar Has Amazing Benefits—But Not If You Drink It Like This

Apple cider vinegar has a pretty hefty list of potential benefits. It can help with stomach issues, hiccups, a sore throat; and it also works to clear dandruff, acne, and unsightly bruises. The list goes on and on, read more surprising things that apple cider vinegar can help.
One way to reap the benefits of this magic liquid is to drink it, but it’s important to drink it in the correct way and quantity. With all of the problems ACV can solve, it may be tempting to just knock back a glass every day, but that can do more harm than good.
Let’s be honest, apple cider vinegar isn’t the tastiest drink in the world. Because of that, many people choose to get their daily dose by taking a shot of the liquid and quickly drinking or eating something else to get the taste out of their mouth. However, over time, this can be extremely harmful. Try these other mixed drinks for a better night’s sleep.
Apple cider vinegar is highly acidic, and while this can help to balance your body’s pH level, it can also damage your tooth enamel and esophagus. The happy medium is mixing one to two tablespoons of ACV into eight ounces of water. If that drink is still too hard to choke down because of the strong taste, try adding a little honey.
Bottom line: Don’t feel like you have to stop drinking ACV altogether. Just make sure that you mix it with the appropriate amount of water first so that it doesn’t cause damage in the long run. These healthy foods are much more nutritious than you realized.

Morning Breath Can Be Deadly. How to Use Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to Kill Pathogens

Morning breath can be deadly, literally.  Nobody likes bad breath, we don’t like it on ourselves and we certainly don’t like it on others.  Aside from the odor and social consequences of bad breath, most of us don’t even know that there are actual health consequences to bad breath.

In fact, one of the primary drivers of increased life expectancy over the past 150 years has been improved dental hygiene.  According to Dr. Gerry Curatola, with over 30 years in the field of biological dentistry, advanced periodontal and gum disease can increase a person’s risk of heart attack by 10%.  For those with Gum Disease, they have a 700% increased risk of having diabetes.

The problem stems from the inflammation associated with the release of C-proteins by the liver to combat the bacteria that enters the blood from the mouth and gut.  This protein causes internal inflammation that has very detrimental health consequences.  “This inflammation has very, very deleterious effects on just about every major organ system – from Alzheimer’s to stroke, heart disease, and diabetes,” Dr. Curatola explains.
One of the main ways you can reduce bacteria in your mouth and gut (consequently reducing bad breath as well) is to rinse your mouth out first thing in the morning (before drinking that morning cup of coffee or even a glass of water) with 1-3% concentrated Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide.

Conventional mouthwashes, which claim to be anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, are indeed affective at killing the bad bacteria associated with bad breath.  However, they also kill the good bacterial associated with immunity and proper digestion.  Since most good bacteria is aerobic and bad bacteria is anaerobic, the high oxygen content of the Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) creates an oxygen rich environment that kills off the anaerobic bacteria (bad bacteria) while helping the aerobic bacteria (good bacteria )thrive.

Hydrogen Peroxide Mouth Rinse

Make sure to always use Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide as the regular stuff in the pharmacy has many other ingredients to improve shelf life that are harmful when taken internally.  Also, never swallow Hydrogen peroxide and keep away from eyes and children.  Also, you can purchase Food Grade hydrogen peroxide in concentrated levels up to 30%.  However, this will burn your mouth.  Always dilute with filtered water to no more than 3% concentrate.
